1. Introduction

Loka ("we", "our", "us") is a localization plugin for Framer. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our plugin and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Loka is designed with a privacy-first approach. We collect minimal data:

• License Key: If you purchase Loka Pro, your license key is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. It is sent to our license validation server only during activation and periodic validation.
• Instance ID: A randomly generated identifier stored in your browser to manage license activations. It does not contain any personal information.
• Payment Information: Payments are processed exclusively by Creem.io. We never see or store your credit card details, billing address, or other payment information.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
• We do not collect analytics or usage data
• We do not access or store your Google Sheets data — all translation fetching happens entirely in your browser
• We do not access or store your Framer project content

4. How We Use Information

The only server communication Loka makes is to our license validation endpoint to:

• Activate a new license key
• Periodically validate an active license (once every 24 hours)

This communication contains only your license key and instance ID — no personal data.

5. Third-Party Services

• Google Sheets: Your browser fetches translations directly from Google's public API. We do not proxy or store this data.
• Creem.io: Handles payment processing and license key generation. See Creem's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare: Our license validation endpoint is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Storage

All plugin data (license key, instance ID, connection settings) is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. You can clear this data at any time by removing the plugin or clearing your browser data.

7. Data Security

All communication between the plugin and our license server is encrypted via HTTPS. We do not store any user data on our servers beyond what is required for license validation.

8. Children's Privacy

Loka is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
